SWELL Sculpture Festival
9-18 SEPTEMBER 2022 | Various times and locations
The highly anticipated outdoor art exhibition is returning for its 19th year. Visit incredible large-scale sculptures set with the backdrop of the beautiful Currumbin beach. More than 50 sculptures will be featured, allowing viewers to wander among the breathtaking offerings. There are also pop-up exhibits in locations stretching across the wider Gold Coast area. And it’s free to see!

Southport Community Market & Music Festival

Travelling around the Gold Coast
The Gold Coast is connected by an extensive network of trains, buses, and trams. All Queensland public transport uses a smart card for travel, or you can purchase a paper ticket.
Short term visitors should check out the go seeQ card, which allows you unlimited travel for 3 or 5 consecutive days on buses, trains, ferries and trams. It also includes 2 Airtrain journeys to/from the Brisbane Airport.
For longer stays, travel like the locals with ago card – just touch on at your station of departure and touch off when you arrive at your destination.
