The origins of the show
Created by Brisbane local Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio, Bluey follows the adventure of a loveable Blue Heeler pup named Bluey and her family in the sunny suburbs of Brisbane.
Through imaginative play, Bluey and her younger sister Bingo embark on adventures that transport them into exciting new worlds, from exploring the ocean as intrepid underwater adventurers to embarking on quests as valiant knights.
Mixed with this imagination and sense of adventure are heartwarming relationships and important messages. The family dynamic and special bond between Bluey, Bingo and their parents Bandit and Chilli resonate with audiences of all ages through their authenticity, relatability, humour and warmth.
Bluey has proven itself to be so much more than “just” a kids show, with timeless messages carefully woven into the storyline. The show encourages children to value the beauty of imagination, embrace their creativity, and cherish their friends and family. Through the eyes of Bluey and her family, adults who watch the show alongside children can also take away the importance of playfulness, empathy and connection.
Step into Bluey’s World
From 7 November 2024, Brisbane’s latest immersive experience Bluey’s World will open its doors at Northshore Pavilion in Hamilton. Housed in an extraordinary 4,000 square metre building, you’ll find a replica of Bluey’s iconic Queenslander home, backyard and entire world!
The interactive guided experience features multiple rooms showcasing the vibrant and playful world of Bluey, real-life sets and recognisable scene, and beloved characters and games from the show. After the guided experience, you can stay to enjoy the neighbourhood playground, shop and cafe.
Bluey’s World is suitable for the whole family to enjoy together. Much like the show itself, Bluey’s World serves as a reminder to adults to treasure time spent with family and to embrace their inner child and sense of play.

Embark on a joyful journey and exciting immersive experience into Bluey’s World with Airtrain. world of Bluey. With services running every 15 minutes during peak times and every 30 minutes off peak, we’ll help you get there on time and in comfort. Airtrain runs express from Brisbane Airport and stop at Fortitude Valley, Central, Roma Street and South Brisbane stations.
