Track work on the Gold Coast Line
All Airtrain services to and from the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Boggo Road/Park Road and Varsity Lakes Stations on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March 2025. Rail Buses will replace trains in both directions.
Before travelling we recommend you to plan your journey using the Translink journey planner, find your station’s rail replacement bus stop location, and allow extra travel time for your journey. For more information on this service impact click here to visit the TransLink website or call 13 12 30.

Travelling to Brisbane Airport
- Gold Coast and Beenleigh travel: Catch a rail replacement bus to Boggo Road/Park Road station and change to a train service to catch a connecting train to the Airport station.
- All other services are not impacted.
Travelling from Brisbane Airport
- Gold Coast and Beenleigh travel: Catch a train service to Boggo Road/Park Road station and change to a rail replacement bus service to your destination.
- All other services are not impacted.
TRAVEL TIP: When travelling on the rail replacement bus, place your luggage on the seat next to you or under the seat so it is within easy reaching distance. You may also ask your bus driver for ramp assistance when entering or exiting the bus to assist with your luggage.
