Track work on the Brisbane City and Gold Coast Line
Due to Cross River Rail construction works, all Airtrain services to the Gold Coast will run express via the Tennyson Loop on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September 2024. Due to this change in route, stations between Roma Street and Altandi stations will require a train transfer.

Travelling to Brisbane Airport
- Gold Coast and Beenleigh travel: The train will run express (via the Tennyson Loop) between Altandi and Roma Street station.
- If you are travelling between Moorooka and Park Road stations, catch a rail replacement bus to travel to Park Road station and then, catch a train (Shorncliffe line) to travel to Roma Street station to catch a connecting train to the Airport.
- Brisbane City travel: All trains travelling from Roma Street station will depart 8 to 10 minute later than the normal timetable between Roma Street and Airport stations.
- If you are travelling from South Brisbane, South Bank, or Park Road stations catch a train (Shorncliffe line) to Roma Street station to catch a connecting train to the Airport.
- All other services are not impacted.

Travelling from Brisbane Airport
- Gold Coast and Beenleigh travel: The train will run express (via the Tennyson Loop) between Roma Street and Altandi stations. All trains travelling from Airport towards the Varsity Lakes will arrive 5 minutes later than the normal timetable between Altandi and Varsity Lakes stations.
- If you are travelling between Park Road and Moorooka stations, change trains at Roma Street station for the Cleveland line or Park Road trains to travel to Park Road station and catch a rail replacement bus to your destination.
- Brisbane City travel: If you are travelling to South Brisbane, South Bank, or Park Road stations catch a train (Cleveland line or Park Road train) and transfer at Roma Street station to travel to your destination.
- All other services are not impacted.
