About Us
Airtrain is a privately owned and operated railway that commenced operations in May 2001. The service is completely integrated into the Queensland Rail suburban network with trains running from Brisbane Airport directly to Brisbane City and on to the Gold Coast.
Airtrain manages contracts with Queensland Government, Translink, Queensland Rail and Brisbane Airport Corporation. Airtrain currently has four employees. Airtrain has an alliance with Ventia who provide operations and maintenance on the Airtrain rail link.
