What you need to purchase tickets

To take advantage of this special offer you need to produce your current ASIC card, Airport Staff ID, or a letter (physical or digital) confirming your employment in the Brisbane Airport precinct to the Airtrain station staff at either the International or Domestic stations. Workers at Skygate and Brisbane Airport Service Centre are also eligible for discounted tickets.

Brisbane Airport workers tickets are available for travel between the Brisbane Airport stations and the following Brisbane City stations: South Brisbane, Roma Street, Central, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, Albion, Wooloowin, and Eagle Junction. Travel beyond these stations will require an additional ticket which can be purchased from your local Queensland Rail station or the Airtrain stations.

Travelling on staff tickets

You must have a valid ticket each time you travel on the train, and present this when entering and exiting the train station. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be used by another person.

Weekly tickets and Book of 20 tickets for Brisbane Airport Workers are only available at International and Domestic Airport stations. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid train ticket prior to arriving at the Airport stations. Failure to do so will result in a full adult fare from CBD station being charged on top of any tickets you wish to purchase.
