Altered Timetable on the Gold Coast Line

Trains will run on an altered timetable daily between 9 am and 3:30 pm on the Gold Coast Line between Ormeau and Varsity Lakes stations from Monday 23rd to Friday 27th June 2025 due to Pimpama station works.

Track work on Brisbane City and the Gold Coast Line

Due to Cross River Rail construction works, all Airtrain services to and from Brisbane City and the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Boggo Road/Park Road and Banoon stations on Saturday 28^th and Sunday 29^th June 2025.

Travelling to Brisbane Airport  

• Gold Coast and Beenleigh travel: Catch all stops train to Banoon station where customers will disembark and travel by an express rail replacement bus to Eagle Junction station to catch a connecting train to the Airport. Alternatively, you can also catch a rail bus to Boggo Road/Park Road station for a connecting train to the Airport.
  • The trains will be operating on altered timetable from Varsity Lakes to Banoon stations. Please plan your journey using the Translink journey planner.
• All other services are not impacted.

Travelling from Brisbane Airport 

• Gold Coast and Beenleigh travel: Catch the train to Eagle Junction station for an express rail bus to Banoon station for a connecting all stops train to your destination. Alternatively, catch a train to Boggo Road/Park Road station where customers will disembark and travel by a rail replacement bus to Banoon station, to catch a connecting all stops train to your destination.
• All other services are not impacted.

TRAVEL TIP: When travelling on the rail replacement bus, place your luggage on the seat next to   you or under the seat so it is within easy reaching distance. You may also ask your bus driver for ramp assistance when entering or exiting the bus to assist with your luggage.
