Airtrain uses one of the most modern fleet in trains in Australia supplied by Queensland Rail. These trains come with LED screens installed to help you navigate your journey.
All trains are fully air-conditioned to make sure your ride is comfortable during Brisbane’s beautifully warm summer months.
The majority of trains from Brisbane Airport have free wi-fi. Airtrain Domestic and International stations also have free wi-fi.
The Airtrain platforms are level with train floor so you can wheel your luggage easily onto the train. The trains do not have overhead luggage storage however there is plenty of room within carriages to travel with your luggage.
Airtrain is ideal if you are travelling with large items such as surfboards, bicycles or golf clubs which won’t fit in a mini-bus. Perfect if you are travelling to the Gold Coast beaches with our train and tram service.
All trains are wheel chair accessible and the platforms are level with the train floor. Airtrain staff are on hand to assist boarding.
All trains from Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast have wheelchair accessible toilets.
Airtrain travels on an elevated railway line showcasing beautiful scenic views of Brisbane and the surrounds from for almost 10km between the City and the Airport.
All Airtrain services have an onboard train guard for your safety. Announcements are made prior to every station so you can alight at the correct station.
